[Resources for Artists] Portrait Frame for Instagram Carousel: 4 Pictures Carousel

Hello!

I made this .psd document for me to properly cut my own artwork in order to post correctly on Instagram, but I think it will be very useful for you as well!

The document is sized 4320px by 1350px and has the 4:5 Aspect Ratio for Cropping and Publishing.

This template allows only one picture from the carousel to be cropped. To check for templates with bigger sizes for the carousel, click here!

This size is purposefully chosen for its size on the Instagram timeline: The longer the image/post, the longer your audience will have to "scroll past" it, so they'll take more time to look at your post!

Portrait posts are also more common for artists to use on their artwork, since it's a great way to resize your canvas in a timeless proportion for pictures that will help focus on your main object inside the frame!

The reason why I created this file was so I didn't have to resort to third party apps that could possibly steal my Instagram information and still reduce the quality of my image drastically! This template also allows you to place your own image and crop it the way you want, instead of the way third party apps would probably crop (and leave a weird cropping at that!).

By using the Carousel Versions, you are also able to place exactly what you want in the frames and crop perfectly! Having used several different apps for carousels croppings before, I can safely say that no app has properly done it as well as I did it on Photoshop. It will work wonderfully on your Instagram feed and your followers' timelines!
